Most rockets fly South from the Kennedy Space Center, and depending on their size and trajectory, they usually become visible in South Carolina less than two minutes after liftoff. The best images appear at either just before sunrise or at dusk.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels' air shows are a rare treat. The pictures below are from their 2026 Charleston rehearsal day because the actual air show was cancelled due to rain.
